My mam found some net curtains in a cheap shop for 50p each and has sent them to me, but I already have blinds so I'm looking for something crafty to make with the fabric. Its not old fashioned netty type its more voile, less lacy doily if you know what i mean! I've got about 4 meters worth.
I really like the material and don't want it to go to waste!
thanks in advance for any ideas.

It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

Brilliant to use for a fly screen at your door for the summer. Thread through a garden cane on hooks at the top and put a deep hem at the bottom with pennies or weights in.
Stitch a bag for washing delicate items in the washer.
Add a panel of lace across a duvet cover and the end of pillowcases to brighten it up. Or use at the bottom of a valance.

Wrap hamper type things instead of cellophane? Or if you have little presents you could make a little bag (or just cut a circle) with the voile and tie with a lovely ribbon.
I wonder of you could use fabric paint on it?
Or I wonder if you could cut it into strips, and knit with it to make a cushion cover of soemthing?Pay off as much as you can in 2012 challenge No. 64: 328.75/2,5000 -
