Just wondering where the biggest bonfire is this year?
So far Ballycraigy in Antrim is the biggest I've seen.
The Shankhill Road bonfire was still being built when I drove past tonight.

The one along our street must be the smallest - 2 pallets, 3 blocks of wood and half a small bush. Some idiot dumped a 3 piece suite last night when it's pretty obvious that there's no real bonfire there (one of the neighbours burnt the original bonfire stuff a month ago as a load of wee hoods from outside the area had adopted it as a drinking den)0

Has anybody seen the Bonfire on the Donegal road ? It looks like it is made up of hundreds of scafolding planks! now that is a waste of good planks...0

I nearly cried last year when I saw a pile of lovely old railway sleepers on one bonfire. They'd have looked so much nicer in my garden built into a flowerbed. My Doctor told me that "1 out of 3 people who start smoking will eventually die." The other two apparently became immortal.

Don't know where Ballycraigy is but there was a big one on the road out of Antrim towards Templepatrick
It does seem an awful waste good wood .. and for some reason, shopping trolleys ... why is there always a shopping trolley in the fires?
