hi artytarty
not sure if you are close to the east of the city
these guys are on the belmont road- help computers - my pc stopped working- i left it into them in the morning and collected it later that day...found them pleasant and think it cost around £45 for what they did- so was happy with service

Thanks so much.
I am near Stormont, so that would be great!

Would also recommend Egg IT on the Woodstock Rd. Have had my laptop repaired there a couple of times. They charged about £40. Tel: 9020 12000

Is your computer broke or just slow? No point in giving someone money just to do what you could do for free yourself i.e a factory reset on your machine making sure to save any work you might need onto an external storage device.0

A factory reset will not resolve virus or spyware damage. If you want any help with PC problems or repairs drop me a PM - Private Message. I am based in Belfast and can fix the issue in house or if necessary take it to my workshop for further diagnostics.
Thanks

Hi
The problem is once the lier is IN your system you can not trust ANYTHING in your system!!! therefore you need to scan the hard drive outside of your system (NOT booting from the hard drive)
The best known ways to get rid of a hosed PC are:
1. Burn it:eek:
2. TOTALLY reformat and re install:(
3. Take your hard drive out and put it in another PC as a SLAVE drive and then do a scan of the slave drive:)
4. Us a "live" linux CD that contain a virus scanner in it and boot from the CD IN your OWN PC and then scan your hard drive:j... Google = linux live cd with virus scanner
OR just PM Steve - a4turbosIT is for every one not just those that can see, know how or have a lot of money...0
