but is Barclaycard owned / same as Barlcays bank? I need to open a new bank account away from all my debt but cant open one with where I have debts (DMP)

    I think they're both part of Barclays Commercial, so that'd be a yes, I guess.

    Unfortunately Skycard & Goldfish are also part of Barclays Bank/Credit card so are a few others....so you might want to double check (once your'e all debt free) before you apply for any new credit cards to try re-build your credit rating. There's no point in applying if they're def gonna turn you down. Good luck. x x
