I have ANOTHER final notice! How many can I actually get from the same debt?

Hi all!
I'm just hoping someone can clear this up for me?
I have this debt (don't we all) and it has been outstanding for the last 4 yrs (defaulted 4yrs ago).
In these last four years, I have recieved quite a few 'Final Notices'. The latest one was today actually!
I'm not paying it...I don't have any money too. This is basically the only outstanding debt I have now.
Anyway, everytime I have ignored them and never had any response, never had anybody call out to my home and haven't been brought to court about it. So should I just ignore it?? Like I said I haven't the money to pay, I'm unemployed now(redundunt) and have three kids. Or should I just ignore it until they actually bring me to court and then offer them a token payment then. Once any court sees my situation, I know it will fall in my favour. So I'm not especially worried.
I'm thinking, that they are just sending these letters because they have to. Its been through like 3 or 4 debt collector companies now and they all threaten me with Court proceedings..but never actually have.
BTW. The debt is for about £250.

As many as they want, have had 100's with no action ever taken. Some people get one or two then action taken. No real rhyme or reason to it.Barclaycard 3800
Nothing to do but hibernate till spring
