Pathway Finance

Options
My partner and I were accepted by FLM for a loan. Unfortunately after waiting a week for the money we got an application form saying we needed a guarantor too! So much for the money will be in your account within the next few days! The only person we could ask was my father who unfortunately failed their credit check due to a couple of things a year or so ago. We were getting really desperate by Monday and a letter came from Pathway Finance. So we didn't get stung again (HA!) we rang them to check that we had def been accepted and that there would be no more checks needed or guarantors. We we're assured that all we had to do is sign the agreement and send them the £64.50 via Natwest and the money would be sent within 48-72hrs. I was that desperate I borrowed the £64.50 off my Mum (So now we're even more in the !!!!!) thinking I would be able to pay her back as soon as the loan came in. We rang the next day (Tuesday) and were told that it had been recieved and that the payment had been sent via BACS and would be in our account by Thursday at the latest. We rang yesterday (Thursday) as it hadn't showed and were told a load of rubbish about how all the stuff we'd been told wasn't right and that we now needed a guarantor as FLM had accepted us. We have heard nothing from FLM either and they usually send out their applications v v quickly and usually sent about 3 of them! I saw the other thread about this last night and couldn't believe it! We are usually so switched on about these things! Now we're completely in the poo! We're both 20 and so really do not have the best credit history, especially me! We owe out even more money and have lost £64.50 which is alot of money if you don't even have enough money for a pint of milk!

Don't you think it is time to stop throwing good money after bad and face up to the situation you are in??

At only 20yrs old, you are going to have many many years of financial hardship in front of you unless you make a stand now.

Go into the DFW board and make a post explaining your current situation.
Include an SOA to help others help you, the more accurate your post, the more helpful the responses will be.
