Bookie - Fantastic news on the job :T:j

Bunny - Less fantastic news about yours :(

Had a crap end to the day yesterday, DH was in a very bad way and couldn't get his brain and hands to co-ordinate to use cutlery so dinner went in the bin and had tea and toast in bed instead :T Didn't get much sleep though so feeling a bit spaced today.

Just been to a meeting at DD2s school and both DD's have friends home for tea so I'll be needing the caffine pumped in this afternoon.

  • Pooky,
Sorry to hear DH wasn't having a great day. I must say, I really admire your approach to the crap life is throwing at you and DH-you are always upbeat and face the adversity with a sense of humour. It must be so difficult to remain positive all the time. I envy your loyality and obvious total devotion to each other. It is a testament to true love.

I'm another with weedy eyebrows, I literally just pluck out the odd straggler every few months. Always wanted dramatic eyebrows! I have similar colouring to you Becky, just not the hair colour (my Dad's side have red hair, Mum's side are brunette, not sure where the blonde came from (well, a bottle these days :D but I am naturally quite fair anyway).

Sorry to hear about your OH Pooky, but excellent solution.

Can't help thinking that although it is worrying being out of work Bunny that overall it is a positive thing for you, as it's been very clear how much the job has been getting you down over the last few months. Here's to better things and a less stressful life. You're intelligent, articulate and bubbly - you will find something quickly, I'm certain.

Bookie - so pleased for you! :T

Have only skimmed so far so apologies if I have missed any other news - will read back properly now.

Kids going to their Dad's tonight, I'm not working on Saturday (and have obviously now been relieved of babysitting duty :T), so I have a whole weekend to myself! Going to attempt 8 mile run, as had no adverse reaction to 6.5 miles at all, no aches and pains, no niggles, barely any muscle stiffness, so taking that as a sign I'm ready for a slightly longer distance. Want to push quite hard to get to 10 miles, then will just sort of consolidate over spring and start pushing towards 15 miles over summer. _pale_ _pale_ Does that sound reasonable?
