think i have totally cocked up....

i have had my account with Simply Be sent over to Reliable collections(same address funny that?! ) and being a total IDIOT i have agreed to pay installements via a DD facility on my account...it was agreed that currently all i can afford is £50 pm...this is supposed to go out on the 22nd...

I have in the post received 2 letters...1) from my bank lloydstsb stating they could not pay this DD so they are charging me £40 because the money wasn't in my account...

And 1) from Reliable collections demanding £100 from me NOW as i have missed a payment, they have ALREADY added £191 to my balance for 'setting up monthly payments' my balance with them is now £1,100

Problem is...i have spoken to Lloydstsb and they stated the money wasn't requested from my account until the 1st Feb...

so Reliable (or UNRELIABLE) are at fault here as the money was in my account on the 22nd as agreed...now they are threatening to stop my payment plan and charge me even more in interest and letter fees...

haven't a clue what to do...i think i've cocked up by giving them my bank details as someone on here said not too...i'm petrified they will just keep trying to take it as i get charged £40 EVERYTIME!:eek:
Hoping to of finally learned my lesson...slowly but surely

They should of taken it out on the 22nd if this was agreed. Do you have it in writing that this was the date for the repayment?
Have you contacted them regarding the late repayment and also the letter?

You really need to ensure the money is in your account to cover the DD - worth checking it has been taken out before using the bank account, OR maybe set up another account and use this for the catologue debt DD.

Hope you get it sorted out x

If you cancel DD ensure you let the debt collection know this and reasons why (because they were idiots), then set up another form of repayment plan x
