99p for 4 recharchables - Bridgwater

Well we may not have a Tesco, but we do have a great 99p Shop!

The 99p shop in Bridgwater (Somerset) is selling packs of four AA rechargable batteries for...... Yes you have guessed ..99p! :)

Not that high capacity, but ideal for all your remote controls. And if you need 'AAA' they have packs of those for 99p too.

I've seen these in Poundland! All looks good until you see the charge capacity of the battery. They are usually 800mAh

    - I was much happier buying some 2100 mAh packs from Aldi for £1.99. They last longer on a full charge.

I tend to agree - but it was the 'AAA' ones that I was most pleased with.

No need to apologise, Bridgwater is definitely spelt with just one "e" :)

Are the batteries Nickel Cadmium or Nickel Metal Hydride? If they are the former then I wouldn't even pay 99p for them. NiMH could be worth a trip though.

Is that the famous Mark Painter? He wouldn't possibly spell Bridgwater with 2 "e's".
