Because of my hips and DH's knees we decided the bath wasn't safe, so some years ago now we had the bath taken out and a proper shower cubicle installed.

I have a morning routine - loo, shower, weigh before getting dressed. Neither DH nor I have had a bath for at least 10 years.

I use Weleda 'Wild Rose' creamy body wash in the shower. Lovely.

Before I found wisdom, I became old.
  • I shower everyday but never use shampoo and conditioner on my hair. I did use shampoo and conditioner until the new year but my hair was in really bad condition so I stopped on the 1st Jan. Since then it's been shampooed twice when I went to the hairdressers on 2 occasions. Initially it was minging but now it looks better than it has for a long time. I don't think it smells because it is washed with water everyday which lets face it gets most things clean.
  • I have a shower and wash my hair every morning. I couldn't contemplate leaving the house without having a shower. I think it almost becomes a ritual. To me it's about washing yesterday away and starting afresh. And I love the feeling and smell of clean hair. I have long hair so it takes a while to dry but I don't mind, all part of the morning ritual. Three essentials before leaving the house...shower, coffee, Sky news.

Shower every morning ... I don't have a bath in my current house - in fact, I haven't used a bath for nearly 4 years since I moved out of my parents house  I really miss baths and all this talk of huge corner baths and bubble bath and stuff is making me very jealous! But hopefully I will be moving to a new house with a bath in a few months time!

I have a bath most days, the reason I don't have a bath every day is due to environmental reasons, (all that pollution etc) also it dries your skin and strips your hair of all its' natural oils. :D Or maybe I am just a minger. :rotfl::rotfl: :)
