Missed a phone call yesterday from Talktalk, they told my brother I have won 2 tickets to the Xfactor tour and wanted to know when and where I wanted to go, he told them I was away but didn’t get a contact name. I tried ringing them but they need to know who rang, so if any of you have won recently have you got a contact name?

Hi Suedong, first of all congratulations on winning this prize. I'm always pleased when an MSE member wins via a posting on this forum. As for more info, you could try to get a telephone number from the promoter or writing to their address listed in the T's and C's from the original link.
Here's some details via yell but you may find a better number or email. I usually find simply emailing customer services or feedback and stating very clearly your problem helps. They just forward it to the relevant department.

Hi youngski,
I have the phone number,but when I rung it I told them I thought the lady was called elouise,louise or lisa and he told me without a surname there was nothing he can do, so was really hoping someone else had won on here and could help.
I will in the mean time try emailing them, dont hold out a lot of hope at the moment and was going to take my daughter for her birthday as they are in London in March and the event is the day before....anyone else able to assist??

I had a reply via email but they again told me unless I know the full name of who I want to speak to they are unable to assist. Hit a brick wall.....unless someone else has won tickets from your post

Can you ask them for a number/email for anyone connected with promotions and competitions. At least you will be communicating with someone in a relevant department and not first line staff who only deal with customer issues.

Tried that, the phone number I have is 020341721000 but cant get passed the switchboard they are the most unhelpful company I have come across or the receptionist is!

I have now found the marketing address and I am posting them a letter today to see if I can sort it out, anyone have any other advise let me know.

Yeah he is hopeless, he only needed to tell them to ring my mobile or take a full contact name and job would have been done. I have just sent a registered letter to Talktalk marketing department as detailed in their terms and conditions, so I am forever hopefull. Congrats on your win
