Loan not on credit file

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone knew what it meant if something was not on your credit file (not that i'm complaining! ) but i have a loan with Santander and have been paying it back now for a year, i have had a few missed payments due to me being of work sick and not been able to afford it, but things are back on track now, but its not showing and has never been on my credit file. Does this mean that its not on there or that my mishaps wont effect my score?

have you checked ALL credit ref agencies?
Some companies do not share data with all cra's

check here if your lebder is on the list

You are correct, if its not reported then the missed payments will not impact credit score, but there are 3 main CRA's you need to check before you can be sure they arent processing your data
