advice needed please, i won an ebookreader on 1st april an posted everything off recorded delivery which was signed for on the 6th, and i have not heard anything since. the problemis my computer crashed about 2 weeks ago and i had the confirmation email saved on it, i have been able to get all new emails on my new laptop, but the compouter chap couldnt get the others off my old pc, so i cant get my claim number :mad: next time i know to print it off!

Aww Hun, do your emails download to your pc? Im with sky so they dl to my pc but also stay on the main server, depending who you are with can you not log in to the site (sky,virgin,gmail) and retreive it that way?
The only other option is to call with your recorded delivery number and tell them what's happened and ask them to chase it up.

i am with timico and i managed to go through their website to get new emails but cant get to all the ones that were already opened on my pc i am not very good with computers, but had a chap out to put everything off my old pc onto my laptop and he did nearly everything else but couldnt get those emails, thanks for your advice i have the tracking number so might give that a go.

Runnerduck....If it was with a Windows Live email my husband said you can go on their site which is www.windowslivehelp.com and they can help you recover your deleted or read emails from their server if it hasn't been too long... itms
