Don't buy from this internet company!

Just a heads up folks. My Mum bought some stuff from a company called everythingcinnamon.co.uk back at the beginning of December. It never arrived. She emailed them several times and never got a reply. She had paid through NoChex so reported it to them. Despite various messages, they've done nothing. She reported it to Southend-on-Sea Trading Standards who say they went round to the address on the website but there was no-one there. The website is still there and it is still trading, and it has been updated recently. Seems like this guy is breaking all the rules and no-one can do anything about it. The fact that NoChex are still prepared to provide a payment gateway for this company even when they have all been informed that the company is taking money without supplying goods or refunding, does not inspire me with confidence in them either. As the amount of money involved is quite small there is little my Mum can do, but she asked that I warn others who might be tempted to buy from these people.:mad:

Why not give the chap a ring???

Im not going to give you his number but if you looked at his "about us" page and then put his name and address into google you will get his phone number.

Oddly enough I lived in Southend for 30 odd years, about 5 blocks away from the location of this "company" and looking at multimap it looks like a residential address, there is a sweet shop on the corner close to it but if you are really interested I have to pop to Safend tommorow I could always confirm my speculation, hell I could even pop in and say hello!!!!

I notice there's no phone number on the website. Perhaps wh1sky knows what it is?
