Some people will tell you it is worth it, but most of those will be after you signing up with them so they can get a cut of your earnings, if you make any.

Before you listen to anyone, visit their web site .kleeneze.co.uk and browse a catalogue. Look carefully at the items and ask yourself if you would buy them if a complete stranger pushed a catalogue through your door.

    .
  • Tried it a few years ago. The name of the game is - recruiting other like minded people. It CAN be OK. There is a lot of "meetings in hotels" and you have to pay extra for more catalogues. If you are semi-retired and looking for a hobby then you might enjoy it, The biggest problem I had was having to call back to customers when they didn't have the money when I initially called with the goods.

You might enjoy it, but as they say- If you want to make the big bucks you have to really put the effort in. Rest assured you will make your money back, and in the current recession you might be inundated with people wanting to join. Either way I wish you luck..It didn't "float my boat".. but who knows? Hope this helps.

Don't listen to this, nobody in the world can promise that.

basieman, or anyone else, has no idea where you live, how many houses you can get round, or even if you are physically capable of lugging the catalogues around the streets.

For all we know you could live in a little 10 house village 25 miles from the next nearest village, have no transport and will be totally dependant on selling to your nine neighbours. They in turn may not want to buy from you!

Nobody in the world can promise you'll make enough sales to earn £80 in commission.

The one thing they can promise you is that Kleeneze won't lose money if you give up on the first day. They've already made a profit from selling you the catalogues and assorted stuff that goes with them.

    Hi :)
I totally agree with basieman - it worked for me at a time when I needed it and my biggest earnings in one month were over 850 which me and hubby worked damn hard for.
It can definitely work as long as you have houses around you and you do work hard with a smile and a friendly attitude :)
It also doesn't float my boat any more but I did appreciate it at the time :)
Good luck with whatever choice you make BeautyandtheBeast :)

  • I looked into it once and really wasn't impressed, it seemed to be all about making money for those higher up the chain, with a lot of slog for not much return by those lower down:o

But I didn't ever actually try it so maybe I am being pessimistic

however, start up costs are pretty high compared to avon etc which made me wonder how much they expected me to be able to make, iyswim, so I wasn't v confident about it all. Good luck, I;m sure it could be good with luck and the right mindset

Whatever company you decide to go with - research any "hidden costs" before hand. Me & OH started avon & kleeneze at about the same time last year - as you can tell from my signature we still do avon lol, but gave kleeneze up after a few weeks. We tried - but although we never get a brochure delivered to our street, we found that surrounding streets got about 3 delivered a week from various distributors - which meant some very p*ssed of people as you can imagine! Plus, there was a charge for ordering online, about £5 a month I think it was, and charges for delivery, the cost dependant upon the value of your order, and if memory serves you had to pay for order forms to. So with us working full time we just couldn't deliver/collect enough brochures each week to get enough orders to make it worthwhile to submit them once these costs were factored in. But - we tried it!
