hi, I would like a bit of advise please. Im 23 and living at home with my parents, I have always been good with payments of what little debts I have had (a loan for £1500, T.V on argos card, mobile phone bills) everything has been paid off and i'm pretty much debt free apart from a £3000 loan i took with nationwide about 2 years ago at a silly apr. anyway its down to £1000 now but im unfortunately unemployed due to work issues.I was wondering if i went into my building society if they could freeze my loan for a short period or come to an arrangement so i can get back on my feet.If they could would it effect my credit rating or any borrowing in the future ? ive never missed any payments to date and id feel stupid being without work
i aint applied for job seekers allowance yet as im too proud to do so.

nationwide may well be helpful as you are unemployed
however it's likely to adversely affect your credit rating
however you need to review your approach to spending and debt:
why ever are you concerned about future borrowing?
Except for a mortgage you should aim never to have a debt again
Living at home you should be a massive net saver and have no need for borrowing.
Once you get a job; pay off the debt asap and start a serious saving programme
PS go down to the job centre tomorrow and claim JSA.. stupid to ruin your credit rating because you are afraid to claim JSA0
