Will payday ring my work?

Hi all
As my previous posts, Im currently in the process of changing from B&E to payplan.

Im going to include my payday loans in with my new DMP but am petrified they will ring or worse turn up at my work (when I applied I had to put my work number in........one of them rang me at work the other day to ask if I wanted an extension.) Obviously I really dont want them ringing or turning up at my work.........whats the likelyhood of this happening?

no they cannot turn up at your work, and hey cannot ring your work asking if you want to extend, they can only ring your work if you default, like i have done, they rang today to be precise ! i told my boss to tell them i wasnt in, and when i went on my break a gave them a bollocking, told them if they ring me at work again, i will file a case against them for "embarrassment over debt" by law they can ring your work, but they cannot mention where there calling from, i.e what company, and what they are calling for, all they can do is ask to speak to you, and give their name and they cannot mention the debt unless they are sure they are speaking to you. when i rang them i explained that the number they ring is located on the shop floor, infront of everyone, so they would be breaking the law by making me discuss my personal matters at work infront of others

just feed em some !!!!!!!! of why they cannot ring you at work, obviously if the phone they ring is located in a private room, then this is ok, as its not being discussed infront others. if this is your case feed them some ball, like i did, and say you will file a case against them of "harrasment over debt" because the phone is located where others can hear.

when i said this to the guy, he didnt know what to say, but said he will make sure he doesnt call my work again, i told him ring my phone all day long, but dont ever ring work, if for whatever reason i cannot talk at the moment in time, i will call back later, like i have always dont.

but dont ignore their calls all the time or they will keep ringing your work
make sure you call them back at a time convinient to you NEVER ignore the calls from these people, for your own benefit, because they can and will ring you at work.
