Take care and keep your chin up.
Same here, its hard....the real solutions are not always the easy ones. But when my financial world caved in on me, and I was in floods of tears my mother in law told me "you have so many friends & family around you who dont care about how you got into a mess, they just want to see you out of it and happy, you have to brave the storm to see the rainbow at the end"0 -
You are in good hands here. Everyone here is so supportive. Anytime you feel down or feel like you can't do it, just come on have a chat and I guarantee you will go away with a renewed vigour to tackle things head on. Whilst none of us want to be in this position, the fact that we are and we can all offer each other support is the biggest consolation of the whole damn struggle!
Believe me when I say (cause I've been there...so many of us have) it always seems like it will never end, you will never get out of it, there is no light at the end of the tunnel - but there IS! There is always a way out, it can be hard, frustrating, upsetting, but IT CAN BE DONE!
You can do it, just don't give up, we are always here for support. I do sincerely wish you the best of luck. It won't be forever, thats how I always see it....

More letters this morning and even a text message form one demanding 'I CALL THEM NOW!' Just trying to ignore them at the moment and not let them get to me as I know I am trying to do the right thing.
Have been busy getting everything I can sorted but until I have a new bank account and my new benefits award I still can start the DMP. I'm hoping the bank account is sorted quite quick or I will not be able to transfer my wage for this month and it will be eaten up by my bank loan repayment leaving me very little moneyCrazy unorganised mum in need of help!

Sarah, can you cancel the DD for the bank loan and just make a token payment. You need to make sure you have enough money to keep your roof over your head, keep it warm and lit and have food. Had a pin number for the bank I applied to so I guess my application has been accepted . . not had account details or a card yet though!?
Hopefully they will come in the next day or so. I can ring the benefit people Wednesday to change them so it's starting to mover forward slowly.
Still being sent lots of letters to make payments now but not finding them as upsetting
Can't wait till my DMP can be started . . . April hopefully

It does take 5-10 working days to recieve new banks bits, as you have a pin number the rest should be on its way!
Roll on April
I`m glad your not getting upset by the letters now, have you informed any of them that you are starting a DMP? might stop some of the letters being sent out. xDebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

Got my new bank details today, just the card to come now . . . feel like I'm another step closer to getting things sorted

Now got the task of moving every thing form old to new account . . any tips on how to do this so I don't miss payments and so I don't mess up my new account by having payments bounce!
More letters in the post as well but I just open and then file them without letting them bother me.Crazy unorganised mum in need of help!

Not posted for a while as I've been very busy
Things were ok for a while but they seam to be going crazy again! Some of the people I owe money to have been ok and have cashed the goodwill.
The only one so far that is not is Santander
They ring all they time! I have already told them I will not confirm security over the phone (this isn't something I am doing to avoid them, it is something I have always had a problem with. I just don't like giving personal details out to strangers when you can not be 100% sure they are who they say they are)
It's driving me mad now as I don't want to get in to trouble with them but I can't do anything else to make it better other than what I am doing (sending goodwill whilst setting up DMP)
I am very worried about my old bank and my loan with them
I have enough money in the old bank to cove the goodwill payment santander have not cashed yet and to cover bank charges being applied on the 1st but I do not plan to add any more funds to this account. The problem is I can not cancel the dd of the loan so this will bounce(?) I have no yet written to the loan people/bank as I wanted to get my new a/c up and running first. I will be sending them a letter tomorrow with good will payment, I just hope they accept it!
I also need help with my SOA as a lot of income/outgoings have changed. I will be posting a new one tomorrow as I will have the final bit of information I need then
Once I have got my SOA in order I am start my DMP as I will no how much I can afford to pay each month
My dealings with the power company are not going well either. I am hoping that I can get help with this when I post my SOACrazy unorganised mum in need of help!
