The science centre is great, you'll need to pay extra if you want to go up the tower though.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
Balance 19th April '07 = minus £27,640
Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.0 -
Might not be suitible BUT if you are going on Friday 12th February, the Science Centre has a special event on called "Social Science - The Science of Attraction" If you take a look on their website it tells you what is happening. I'd post a link but can't!
If that sounds attractivebook in advance and quote "itison" and you get 2 tickets for price of 1.
I'm going, can't wait!:)

If you are travelling by train with children and have a kids go free ticket, show that and the child gets in free.
During the Glasgow River Festival, in July, entry to the Science Centre is only about £4.0 -
I've looking for things to do with my 5.5 year old daughter during half term and wondering if this might be an idea.
What ages of children have people taken?
thanks

Agreat place for a day out with children. i've taken grandchilden as young as 4 and it held their interest. Catering not great - the restaurant was closed and the little kiosk had very limited food on he day we were there." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

I have been with a child as young as 2 and half as well as 6/7 year old.
There was quite a bit on the first floor for the youngest, not much elsewhere though.
I would think a 5.5 girl would enjoy quite a lot there.0 -
If you go to the IMAX to see a film you get into the science centre for a discount- think its about £2 but cant quite rembember. I dont think the discount needs to be used in same day- so even if there is nothing you want to see at the Imax if you know anyone who is going they could give you their deiscount.
Next time I go- March- I will post on here if I think the discount can be used.0
