i don't know whether it's appropriate to do so but i wanted to say thank you to all the experienced and knowlegable people who give advice on this forum
i asked for advice around 5 months ago - self employed, wanted to release equity on current flat to buy a new one
i went into the bank so very well informed and confident as a result of the tremendously helpful advice from this board
despite many problems and issues with the bank - so much so that they sent a case of wine as an apology - i will finally get the keys to my new flat on friday
the advice i received on here was invaluable in giving me the knowledge and confidence to work through all the silly problems that cropped up
my heartfelt thanks to everyone here
