Hi, I'm interested to hear any feedback from anyone who may have looked into home working by phone 'virtual call centre' work?. Has anyone started doing this and how has it gone. What are the pitfalls, the setup costs etc. I was made redundant last May and am looking for 20-30 hours a week to supplement my income. I worked for many years in customer services so come from that background. Please help!!:)

Hi, I am starting with call catcherz on behalf of arise!
What you need to do is decide on weather to work for yourself or as part as call catcherz, if you go via call catcherz (what i am going to be doing) Then you pay them £5 a week, and they are there to help you all the way.
It only costs you £23 to obtain a criminal record check (all on arise website) then you fax/email it to arise and then they tell you your next step..
You basicly answer calls from customers of catologues, take payments, orders and answer any enquiries.. Full training is given..
I think it is around 80p per phone call taken, the more you answer the more you earn. And you have to contact the revenue to declare, and pay tax etc.. Make sure you keep all receipts of items you buy for the business, such as pc, special telephone (£50 roughly), pens, notepad etc..
Really is a good oppurtunity! Can't wait to get started... Feel free to message me, we can be buddys :-)0
