Tesco online order help

I ordered some boxes of biscuits and they didn't come but they didn't substitute them, is this normal? I thought if something you ordered wasn't in stock they just substituted it.
Now I am going to have to go and buy some tomorrow.
Thanks

I think so, we usually get items substituted. That's why I was confused

Were the biscuits listed on your printout? Check you weren't charged for them, they might have just missed them out when packing.

they were at the top of the sheet saying that they hadn't been packed, so I haven't been charged. Just annoying as I will have to go out and buy them tomorrow

A friend of mine once had the nappies she'd ordered missed off her shopping - if you run out of biscuits, it's annoying. If you've run out of nappies...........
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

That has happened to me a couple of times before when am item hasn't been available.

As long as it's not a vitally important item then I'm not really too bothered.
