Nope. Is he prone to silly mistakes as well?!0 -
You're both good at finding keys without clues!Sorr if i sound abit thick, what are these email clues about?
They're about all kinds of everything. Sometimes they're just the name of the car mixed up - like mia rates for maserati.
The Vauxhall clue is historical. The supporters of King Charles the First were called Cavaliers, the same name as a Vauxhall model.
Maybe it would help if posters mentioned how they worked out the answer
when they post the code. I must admit I don't always understand the clues myself.
Sorry, you were asking about the email clues, not clues in general.
You can have an email clue sent to you if you tick the box to accept messages from Auto Trader
when you enter a code. It's one clue a day that relates to one of the five codes to be found. It's just a little extra help, although some are so obscure I don't think 'help' is the right word!Mirror, mirror, on the wall.I am my mother after all!0 -

Thank you!!0 -

Email clue: This key opens a car that's a family favourite with a famous Viking logo, made by a company founded in Coventry. Answer: Rover Key: F7EQ2
gavrc has explained how he arrived at the solutions to Clues 1 - 4, Google "car company founded Coventry viking" and the first few results tell you the forerunner to Rover was started in Coventry, Google images of "rover badge" and you'll see a viking long ship underneath the words ROVER. I was slow to start with but I'm getting the hang of these clues now! Is it cheating to use Google?0 -
"Is it cheating to use Google?"
