this is my first post please be gentle,i have recently moved house taking my IF offset morgage with me my first monthly statement in oct 09 tells me in the summery box that my original loan was £35025 which is correct however i looked at my jan statement today and the original loan amount had mysteriously jumped to £35299. I phoned IF to ask why and was informd this was an error so my next question was as i am being charged interest daily have i been charged on the higher amount since they added this error as it turns out back in november 09? the answer was very vague even though i repeated question more than once. i was told that they would look into it and let me know via post but not to expect it to be sorted out in time for next months payment as this is happening to other people too so it may take some time! i only noticed this by sheer chance so urge anyone out there with an intelligent finance mortgage to check your original loan amounts x
I LOVE BETTY CROCKER
