Cellophane bags

I have a number of craft ideas that I hope to make both for presents and for sale at a school fair. Quite a few of these will involve using cellophane bags, and it seems to be the case that the cost of these, even on ebay, is disproportionately high when compared to the cost of making the contents. I was wondering whther anyone has any experience of using a cellophane sealer - where is the best place to buy one, how easy are they to use, how well do they seal the bags and how professional a finish do they have compared to bought bags?

I had a cellophane sealer
it was a smaller one
it was awful, and i wasted more cello than i got use from
I am quite handy/crafty, but this was more bother than it was worth
I buy my bags from lakeland, the plain ones
if anyone else has better suggestions they would be most welcome
i go through loads of them too0 -

I have found Lakeland the better place to buy them from. The other sites I have looked at have silly P&P costs.
Never looked for them in any shops, tend to be too busy (and a bit lazy lol).Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Thanks for that.
Interested to hear your comments about the sealer, and to hear if everyone else has the same experience.
I've ordered a load of the Lakeland Christmas bags, as they seem good value - but I really grudge that postage!0 -
I've bought some from the range before now, they have various sizes and not too badly priced.
