Would I get any money?

Hi

My daughters father and I split eight years ago. I signed my house over to him it is worth £150k and I had a mortgage at the time for £20k. (if you are wondering why he was abuse and I did it to get shot off him - and no it didnt work:()

He has recently taken me to court for additional access and parental responsibility which he got. His main arguement was he is paying child support. (£100 a fortnight, started when he started court case immediately finished when court case ended!)

Now I am left with hefty legal fees and no money to pay it.

He currently doesnt work and doesnt have to. when we were together he was a building contractor and he made an absolute fortune. he owns five or six properties that I am aware of. I think his money is all stashed in foreign bank accounts etc.

The problem is his company was registered in Southern Ireland and I could never chase him for money.

I have reported him to the CSA but what are my chances?

    Is he self employed?
Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.
They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.
  • How much CSA arrears does he owe?

If he owns property, the CSA can put a charging order on one of the properties and force the sale of it.

I suppose he would be classed as self employed. I think he was registered as the director of his company.

Can I get back dated money? I was told by CSA I can only get money from when I made the claim.

I have rang them several times over the last few years in desperation when things got tight, but was always told there was nothing they could do because he worked in the UK.
