FTB HomeBuy Direct - Woolwich Mortgage's?

Hi,
Just have a few questions regarding the various Woolwich mortgages.
We are FTBrs with a 25% deposit and buying a new build on the HomeBuy Direct scheme.
Considering he current climate which Woolwich mortgage would you recommend?
We have been told to go for a repayment but are not sure to fix or go with a tracker.
Which of the Woolwich deals would you recommend regarding the above? We would also possibly want to avoid the £999 application charges too.
