Whenever I click 'buy' nothing seems to happen, has anyone got further than the 'buy' button?!0

Tunetribe has offered to extend the offer until midnight Friday due to the problems with traffic. There's still plenty of the 10,000 downloads available so please be patient and come back later when it should be up and running. It's said it's doing everything it can to get the site be working.
Thanks
Is it possible to be more exact? How many of the 10,000 downloads remain?0 -

Right, off to the dentist I go... hopefully there will still be downloads available when i'm back0 -
I firmly believe that sites should not start with these types of "first come first serve" deals unless they are absolutely 110% bloody sure they can handle the traffic. It's exactly the same problem as faced by ticket sales and just causes frustration as well as creating a general sense of unfairness - for example I've been here since 1pm with no luck... yet some people will be getting through on first try. "First come first served" only works if you can ensure that first come really are the first served!
whoever had the analogy of building a motorway for Glastonbury is way off - there are various things that can be done to temporarily improve the efficiency of a website for things like this. Reducing images present on the homepage/offer page, turning off various unnecessary scripts, and I've spoken to my web host in the past regarding temporarily increasing availability of a site which is entirely possible.
Instead of vowing to extend the offer til Friday they should suspend the code and come back when they can deal with the traffic in a fair and managed way. How nobody has come up with a fair, workable queue system yet I have no idea.0 -

Well it is good of Tune Tribe to extend the offer. I guess I can go and make a cup of tea now?To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a Heaven in a wild flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,
And Eternity in an hour.
