Vanilla milk

I tried the Cravendale 'Hint of Vanilla' milk last week and it's lovely in coffee. I just wondered whether putting a vanilla pod in a 6 pinter would give the same results? Would you split the pod and scrape the seeds in? Could the pod be rinsed and added to the next bottle?

Has anyone tried this?

I'd be really grateful for any tips!

Thanks
Sam

Split the pod, scrape the seeds into the milk, discard the pod, simmer or microwave on a low setting but don't allow it to boil. Stir it so you don't get skin on the top, then serve hot or cold, leaving the seeds in.

Thanks Wigginsmum! How long would the milk keep after it's been heated - would a couple of days in the fridge be ok?

    Thanks

Yes I reckon so. Maybe you could try freezing it?
