Mortgage in Principle ID question

Hi All,
We've had a mortgage in principle offer and have found a place we'd like to make an offer on. Our MIP says that we need 3 months pay slips or 'copy contract covering three full months'. My OH's work is having problems with it's accountant and he doesn't have any payslips but does have a contract. Can anyone confirm if what the building society needs is simply a copy of an employment contract for the last 3 months? Sorry if this is a silly question- we're FTB and a bit inexperienced! Any help much appreciated :)

Have you rung the building society to ask?
  • Not yet- waiting until our offer is accepted (we went through a broker so will probably just go back to him). Just thought someone might have had experience of this who could put my mind at ease.
