Steak Hamper....

Hello

Help needed...My Boyfriends Family are all big Steak Eaters (I cant stand it Myself!)
But for My Boyfriends Dad's Birthday, I would really like to make him a Steak/Foody Hamper!?

Atm all I have is some steak seasoning and had thought about a personalised Tooth pick.

If any one has any ideas or suggestions on contents, they would be greatfully received!

Many Thanks

Al

    You could also get:

    - A steak hammer
    - A steak griddle (best way to cook it apparently)
    - Meat tongs

Steak knives and steak seasonings would be a great addition to this.

You could also get a Steak Lovers Cookbook (try Amazon) and possibly an apron and oven mit to match.

Good luck. Post a photo when you're done. We'd love to see it :)

My boyfriends a meat inspector and i did something similar for xmas for him a couple of years ago and i found a BBQ Branding Iron for £10 at the Original Gift Company! Its quite novel, you get a bag of letters so you can brand a steak with names etc! He thought it was marvellous - great boy toy! Hope this helps.
If you go the The Original Gift Company and type BBQ in there search box it should come up.

(They also do a great little personalised BBQ set which is great for meat lovers! but its quite expensive, its £40, i bought it two years ago when it was only £25.)
  • A Griddle pan so they can get those lovely lines on their steaks. Also check out some local farmers etc. Some may do delivery etc so you can get a gift / voucher of top quality beef!

Get a load of steaks from donaldrussell.com

    They'll be impressed :-)

Not like the crap in most supermarkets :)

They are grass fed, hung for 20+ days etc.

A nice bottle of red wine always goes down well with a good steak!
