Which Prepaid Card?

I'm looking for recommendations of a good prepaid card. Basically my OH likes to buy on ebay. He doesn't do shops but buys a load of tat on ebay. If he has Xmas money or birthday money it goes on ebay. If he sells something it goes on ebay.
As a result I pay for the items through paypal and then he gives me the cash. Sometimes this makes it to the bank account other times it just disappears.
So my solution is a prepaid card. When he has spare cash he can walk into a paypoint location and top up with what ever amount he has spare. He can then use that on ebay and our bank account won't be at risk of hackers.
Likewise he will see himself part with hard cash before the transaction rather than me chasing him for a few days and he may curb his spending a bit. I'm making him sound like a child here which isn't the case - he works hard and really does not spend money in the real world - just rubbish on ebay - a few pound here and there as he seems to have a fascination with jiffy bags. :rotfl:
Can anyone recommend a card? I don't want one with a load of transaction fees, monthly service charges etc as this defeats the object. Obviously I realise it will cost up to £10 to buy one and thats no problem but as few other fees as possible would be great.

Hi there - the best value for money is probably the O2 Cash Manager card - but you can only get it if you're on O2 customer - its free with no monthly charges or transaction fees.
Otherwise there's the Virgin one (you either pay per transaction or per month depending on how often you use it). You do have to pay to top up at a PayPoint though - better to top up by debit card online, by BACS or at the Post Office.
I pay £4.95 per month for the Cashplus Mastercard one as it includes purchase protection - as well as being able to work with petrol pumps and car hire (funds/account activity permitting) - which the others don't. It is also embossed, unlike most of the others.
I think a lot of the others are a bit of a rip off if you're a regular spender. Compare them here:

As above you get the purchase protection and it's an actual Mastercard without the credit.
Also a choice of payments.
Either £4.95 per month and nothing on transactions.
Or nothing per month and £0.99p per transaction.
Wouldn't touch any of the others.

Thank you both. Just signed OH up for the O2 card. Ordered one for myself too - not sure why as I don't spend money any more but what the heck it was free so I took one anyway. :rotfl:0
