31k NO MORE ! NEVER AGAIN!

Hi all

I am starting this diary after deadling with my situation that I have discussed here and am starting my long journey on the road to recovery and getting my life back together, proposing to my OH who has stood by me for 8 years and again now at my lowest point of my life and to make everything up to her!

Its gonna take me approx 5 years but I plan to post on here every month the updates so far.

As it stands, and as I start my journey I am sitting here typing this now with 3 unsecured loans.. 1= 16,000, 2= 9250.00 and 3 = 3,000 and a credit card balance of 2,500.

Time to take the long road to recovery! Wish me luck!

    Good luck AJ!

I followed your other thread with much interest and I really do wish you (and your girlfriend) all the luck in the world.

I'm really hopeful for my DFD to be 1/7/14 - I will get there...and so will you!

Hi AJ, though i'd pop over to see how you're doing.

    So... how are you doing?
Noticed you've not posted for a while. Hope that's down to the overtime you got.

Are you keeping a spending diary so you can see where every penny is going? It can get a bit monotonous but worth it if you can highlight some savings.

If you are paying interest on the creditcard it might be worth trying to get a 0% deal in a few months. (Didn't read through all the old thread).

Edit: Just finished reading the old thread.
Really feel for you, but i'm sure you're strong enough to deal with this. I have a few queries about the loans and card, but will PM you tomorrow - i need my beauty sleep ;)
