    I didn't rate the swing when I tried it, I bought my Ameda lactaline from Express yourself mums as it was the cheapest at the time.
    Most mums at my breastfeeding group find a hand pump is sufficient for expressing for occasional feeds (Tommee Tippee is popular) but if it is for substantial expressing (return to work/scbu/relactation) an electrical one would probably be better.

    Have you considered buying secondhand via an auction site? New tubes & breast shields can then be bought direct from Medela to supplement a second-hand pump unit. This is a popular option on other fora I frequent.

    Has your baby been born yet ?
    I breastfed my last baby till she was 13 months without using a breast pump and working.
    I would give other means a try first :)
