School Hall decoration ideas

Hi, We often use our Secondary school hall for evenst but don't fill it and want some ideas to decorate and make it feel less stark and huge. I have thought of maybe some trellis screens that can be moved about but no management to source anything. We want to purchase items that can be flexible and used for different events - eg Quiz nights, auctions.

Get the art dept involved! Maybe they could help you design something that would act as a temporary display for the children's work. It would give a focal point of interest for the parents too and maybe take the responsibility away from you and onto the creative brains of the art teachers...

When I was at school the sports hall was used as a venue. We had carpet and fabric drapes - looked really nice - no idea about cost and storage though.0
