Quidco saying that it is too late to claim my cashback.

I took out an online savings account with Alliance & Leicester on 26th September (I wanted one anyway and have since added to the account).
After a while I raised an inquiry as it hadn't tracked, but was told to wait 60 days; which I did. I submitted a second enquiry and was told to wait 90 days. I waited a bit longer and submitted a further inquiry this week.
Now Quidco have told me that it is now out of date and they refuse to look into it, despite me pointing out that it was at their instructions that I was following. I objected to this, but they have still said that they will not look into it as it has gone past the time scale.
Is there a further complaints procedure that I can follow?
Any help would be must appreciated as there is £20 at stake!

How many days after the 90 days did you submit another enquiry?

    Hi,

@horsechestnut - We have had a few queries about Alliance & Leicester. The terms have recently changed between Alliance & Leicester, their affiliate network and Quidco and we are currently speaking with them in the hope that transactions prior to the change are not affected adversely.

Can I ask you to raise a ticket and mark it to be passed to me please. I will ensure that your issue is escalated and we will then write to you as soon as we hear anything.

    Kind regards,
    Julie Wells,

    Thanks for this Julie.
I have already emailed the complaints department. I am not very good with computers, so never know if I have done the right thing.
I will email them again and ask for it to be referred to yourself. It was just the attitude of the person answering me; as though it was my fault.
    Thanks again.
    Thanks again

its not clear if you emailed quidco or A&L, you need to open a earning ticket by the looks of it to quidco via quidco.com/support and say Julie asked you to, if you havent already done so.

I had a problem with coop insurance £70 cash back from April 2009 is yet to come through although finally it has shown on my account and apparently will be paid on the 28th February-10 months to me is very very slow
  • Thanks for all your suggestions.
Julie from Quidco has sorted it out via the Quidco site. It seems that A&L changed their time scale for chasing up missing payments and I seem to have fallen in-between the 2. I'll make a detailed note of the dates and apply instantly in the future. Watch out everyone else!!!
I have had to chase up other things in the past and they have previously been very helpful.
I have now been credited with the missing £20.
Thanks again for all your help.

This happened to me - but I couldnt remember the length of time I was asked to wait. I raised an enquiry about three weeks ago and quidco said I hadnt visited the site for the past ten weeks and therefore would not deal with it. Ive now emails Julie Wells and hopefully I will be as successful as you - thanks for bringing it to my attention
