@lcncom - have just signed up as well.

I'm transferring a domain name from UKReg. Is it ok to wait till the ftp is all in order and build the site before I initiate the IPS tag change? Just trying to minimise downtime.

    Thanks

My oh has his website down as well and had no reply from them.:(
  • Honestly what are you expecting?

I work for a reputable host and we charge around £60 per year for the smallest account, but for that you get legitimate 24x7 support with a response within just a few minutes.

For 10p a year, what did you expect when things go wrong? Hundreds or thousands of people will be trying to contact to the host to complain that the 10p service just isn't good enough, they will get to you eventually!

mines went back up after 20 mins tops very happy with the customer service and suprised at how quick it got fixed.

Premium server crashed but nothing to worry about its all fixed now.

I was with a very well known host and paid quite alot of money for their service and something similar happened but instead of a quick fix it took 2 days to fix, customer service was rude, aswell as many other problems.
So it doesn't matter if you are a big or small company, it's how you deal with the problem and i have found them so far to be quite good to deal with.

So is it your own services that you're trying to sell then? Why would you have the card details?
