£25 for nothing sounds very good to me, it's only me but my fruit & veg is probably my biggest expense, veg actually as I look on fruit now as a luxury. For as long as this lasts- forever would be nice getting money back on what you would buy anyway is great. Potentially £300 a year back on your normal grocery shop. A lot of things sound good until you realise that it's for stuff you wouldn't normally buy.

Being a Geordie, I have difficulty understanding the Yorkshire accent, but am I right in thinking that, in order to help scientific research and your fellow man, you are going to increase your fruit and veg intake to £25 worth per month.

I do admire men, and women, who help out when they can

This is great - thanks OP. Worth doing becuase its only things we would buy anyway. I think we will easily reach the maximum each month.

Just a quick question. I signed up last night, got my log in details this morning and have uploaded my first few items. Only trouble is im stuck on some apples i bought. Country of origin is the UK but this isnt in the available options on the drop down list. I have tried all variations like, england, britain, GB etc etc. Anyone else had this problem ??

And another thing (sorry !!) can you enter details for loose fruit - ie a single lemon, i have no label or packet for them so wont have the majority of the details that they ask for.

    Thanks in advance

Hi, I've just come back in to this to say I signed up last night & this morning I've got my log in etc & they siad that payment can be made either direct or into Paypal acct. They also said that if you require payment another way, not into bank acct or Paypal to let them know. Excellent. £25 a month on fruit & veg, at aldi or lidl goes a long way. Woo Hoo, thanks for asking the question OP. Really pleased that you've got your first payment.

Hi hermum. Where did you go to sign up? I haven't worked out how to do it yet.

    Many thanks.

  • Many thanks GJ. My powers of observation are obviously not too good today!
  • I got my login details yesterday morning, but have only just logged into my account.

There doesn't seem to be any place to enter your payment details, how do you tell them your paypal, or bank details?

I also noticed in the rules that they give you £2 per month for your postal expenses, not the actual cost of the postage.

Post 15 says that OP was contacted after they received the receipts asking for Paypal acct. I unfortunately bought veg the day before I signed up but I'm going to pay separately at the till for them, so I would have thought that £2 would cover postage. It woulod be good if this is going to be a long term test.

    Thanks, I didn't notice that post :o

The postage would cover ordinary airmail, but not any kind of recorded/sign for.
