  • To be fair, the website states :

Innovative Fresh reimburses the postage up to a maximum of £ 2 per month.

Maybe we were all just lucky last month getting the full £2

Yes I think we were lucky last month :D I'm quite happy to just be reimbursed the postage I have paid.

I only posted mine off on Wednesday this week, so not expecting anything from them for a while.

No, when I joined last month it said they pay a fixed amount of £2 for postage.

Their email welcoming me also said "We reimburse a fixed amount of £ 2,- for postage."

I joined the beginning of January and it clearly said up to a maximum of £2 per month. Which was what was paid in February so I was a little surprised to get the full amount in March even though my postage came to far less.

There isn't a lot you can do about it but I'm happy to claim the full amount and be reimbursed my postage every month.

Yet in post #12 you clearly tell people they pay £2 per month for postage.
That's right, there is no payment I only receive the cost of each fruit surveyed up to £25 per month and the cost of postage of receipts to The Netherlands-£2 each month.
    Also see my post #29
I also noticed in the rules that they give you £2 per month for your postal expenses, not the actual cost of the postage.
Then look at the email they sent on 1 March asking for last months receipts. The last line of item 2. says "We reimburse a fixed amount of £ 2,- for postage."

EDIT: Forgot to add, then look at the same line in the email they sent on 1 Apr asking for march receipts, and see it has changed to "We reimburse the postage up to a maximum of £ 2 per month."

The original deal was they paid £2 for postage, and now they have changed it.

I meant to say up to £2 per month for postage which was what they said in the email I received at the end of January. I was only reimbursed the actual amount I spent on postage not a penny more! It is true they did change this to £2 a month and then went back to the original agreement of only paying the actual amount spent up to £2. Perhaps someone made a genuine mistake like I did, it does happen sometimes!

So, you sent your January receipts in and got paid the cost of your postage, not £2. Then you made a mistake and told everybody that they paid a flat rate of £2 for postage. The following month they change their postage payments to match what you said in your mistake.

Is this just a coincidence, or do you own Taste Radar and thought, b*gger I've made a mistake with the postage reimbursement rate, better pay them that rate.

To me the facts are clear

You came in here and said they paid £2 for postage
I joined, looked at their web site and it said they paid £2 for the postage
I came in here on 14/02/10 in post #29 and said I have looked at the rules and they pay £2 for postage. Obviously I missed your earlier post which also stated this.
They then send me an email also saying they pay £2 for postage

If their web site said they only paid actual postage costs, why didn't someone mention it at the time? You and I can't be the only ones who looked at it. Yet when we both said they paid £2 for postage nobody spoke up and told us that was not correct.

The website didn't say they paid the actual postage costs, I got an email stating they paid UP TO £2 for postage NOT £2. As I've already said I was surprised to get the full £2 , as I only received the actual postage costs the month before. (and no I don't own Taste Radar! I've admitted to making a genuine mistake about the flat rate of £2 for postage)

If you are not happy with the change to the postage cost then quit! But don't come on here accusing me of working for them or lying. I came on here after hearing about the company and wanted to know what other people thought. I've made £75 so far this year, fruit and veg is expensive and if I can get some of the money back then why not. As long as I get back the cost of postage I'm happy, so why aren't you!
  • Well, this looks too good to be true.... get all your fresh fruit and veg paid for...AND get to rant about mushy bananas ... can't be bad! I'm signing up.. but I'll have to work hard to get it up to £25 though :D

I'm not sure I like them cutting the postage. I don't mind only getting back what I paid, but it looks like they are already looking for ways to save money.

what will it be next month, only paying you 75% of the cost of your veg.

It's not costing you anything other that the envelope, you received the cost of the fruit & veg. A lot better return than most surveys & you moan about them only paying you the cost of the postage. I find that unbelievable. Why should they pay more than it costs you? I had expected just the postage costs back.
We were darn lucky to get on this in my opinion & it's all thanks to OP.
I really appreciate the money & I would still do it if they said from now on we can only pay up to 75%. After all 75% of £25 is a hell of a lot more than 0% of £25.
