Hey guys,
Just though id drop by to say im finally debt free :j
Used to come on these boards about 2 years ago when i went a bit crazy with the credit cards and ended up jobless and in a mess at 19 years old. My Debt total was £5500 which dosent seem mega but it was to me when i was 19 years old and lost my job. Basically i started a DMP and started looking at ways to earn extra cash. I got a new job working for a travel agents on weekdays 9-5. Then i got an extra job working in a pub friday and saturday nights doing 8pm-2am.
I had to put my social life on hold due to always working any hours available to me. It was very tiresome but the detirmination to clear my debt and the thought of being debt free kept me going. Last month i finally paid my last payment and feel absoloutely fantastic. Now im planning my future without debts around my kneck. Im 21 years old now and a lot wiser. A life lesson learnt. Theres nothing worse than having financial worries day in day out.
Basically what im trying to say is that you will all get to where i am. Debt free. Its a long road but trust me its worth it in the end. I feel amazing in my self now & starting a new job in leeds city centre which pays very well. Theres light at the end of the tunnel for all of you DFW. Im gonna stick around and help anyone who requires any advice or has any questions. Gonna check out the Up your income board too. Every penny counts
Keep detirmined DFW's . You will get there :T
