Its from a shop in Bexleyheath London I have to hire them from there now as I put a deposit down on a dress and then changed my mind so they are going to transfer the deposit to mens wear

In that case, don't torture yourself about whether it is the best price. Focus on the fact that you've sorted the men's outfits out and it is something you can cross of your to do list

Suit hire wise it does help to shop around. A lot of the suits hire companies I went to usually don’t tell you the price they are quoting for is only for the jacket and trousers. All the other things i.e. shirts etc you will need (unless you’re going to purchase them yourself) are priced up separately

The best thing to do is shop around and what ever you’re being quoted on makes sure they put the quote in writing. That way you can play the companies against each other as a lot of them will try to beat each other by £5 per suit hire. That may not sound like much but imagine you’re quoted by three different hire companies. That may reduce your suit hire package by £15 per suit. In my case I saved £20 per suit

    I got 6 suits for £55 and that’s including: - accidental insurance

    Jacket
    Trousers
    Shirt
    Cravats
    Waistcoat
matching hankie and expect shoes which in theory we don’t need as all my grooms party are wearing black shoes which they all have already

    Good luck

True I have no choice but to either pick a dress from that shop which I doubt will happen as they have nothing i like or put it towards the mens wear

  • Could they not transfer the deposit to a bridesmaid's dress? Which shop in Bexleyheath is it, by the way? I'm local to there and am looking for somewhere to get my bridesmaid's dresses!

That seems pricey, you can almost buy a jacket and trousers for that price.

Our suit hire is £70 for an adult and £40 for a child. And that even includes shoes (which we wont be needing as we'll use our own)
