1000 Clubcard Points when you buy a PS3

According to the clubcard deals website. Can't post links as I'm too new, sorry!

Just in case anyone hadn't seen it. Obviously not as good as the phones but if you were going to get a PS3 anyway....

£249.99 for the console. Can't see the offer on Tesco Direct at the moment.

  • you could always sell it too, brand new sealed stuff goes for surprisingly close to the rrp, so with £40 in deals youd only have to knock 20 off for a 20 quid profit
Everyone who thanks me when ive helped will get a 5% share when I win this weeks Euromillions......:p

Out of stock. Also, the bare 160gb version is £249.99, which is the standard RRP. It would get you 498 clubcard points, worth £4.98. On the clubcard deals, that'll make them worth almost £20. If you check the MSE console article, you'll see that you can have the console for £230 anyway, so unless you're saving Clubcard points for something special, it's not worth it.

xycom1 - buy an XBox 360 Arcade from HMV for £115 and plug the Elite hard drive into it? Cash saved is far more valuable than points unless you're saving them for something in particular.

True that, what about all my DLC on the hard drive, will it work straight off if I just plug the hard drive into the new machine and then sign on to Live?

Haven't any experience of it, but I thought that was part of the idea of the HDD being easily detached?!

Got the £99.99 Arcade 360 from Argos, put my hard drive on and signed in and it's all good.

Wonder if an Elite with a knackered DVD drive is worth anything?
