  • Maybe gardening of some description. I know that sounds abit stereotypical, but it's a good way to work out doors, and be your own boss so to speak. Also, it gives good returns, when you see all the hard work you have put in.

The handyman is an excellent idea, however my Dad is Mr Bodge It

After electrocuting my Mam on numerous occasions, and cutting umpteen corners in their own home, I wouldn't trust him near anyone elses home!

Maybe not then. The court damages case could end up being more stressful than teaching...:D

Same for gardening unfortunately. The only garden job he'll do is mow the grass, and that's only when he gets fed up with Mam nagging him about it
Here I go again on my own....

It depends what his subject is....no one wants to pay my husband to do extra tuition in Geography,

Since he has years of experience working with kids what about working in a breakfast/acs/holiday club? All the ones I've used have been 100% women but I know my son would love to have a male role model at these places to play the more physical activities with them.
