i dont know where to post this
my gs will be 16 VERY soon
he lives with me only
he is staying on at school
when does he get EMA is it when he turns 16 or when he enters 5th year ? ie after summer break
how does he apply
does he get free prescriptions ETC.
ive no idea who to ask

I am presuming, from your location you are in Scotland.
Ok, Your GS will still get free prescriptions until he is 18 (19 if still in full time education).
The EMA, well I don't know myself, but I hope this website will help you find out. If you go along to your local council offices they can give you a form and help you to fill it in too. (I have just applied for the first time for my DS mid-year so don't know how it works from beginning of term if you see what I mean - I think I remember forms being offered at the end of summer term in school, for starting in August).

Alternately you could give the school a phone and they will help you, especially regarding the age/ 5th year query.
