Ecover laundry bleach (or similar)hunt

Hi I hope this is the right board. I am looking for something that will make my whites... well white. I try to do my bit for the environment but do also need to get stains out of shirts and brighten them occassionally. And ok I know its best for the environment to use as little products as possible but I don't do it for every wash - and I feel better to whiten the shirts and continue using them than replacing them which would surely have a bigger impact. Ialso have a sofa that is off white material that has to be washed at least every 4 months. Also stains from nappies when they get really bad......obviously I feel guilty as I seem to have rantingly tried to justify this...please be gentle!
Now my problem is that I can't find ecover laundry bleach anywhere... does anyone know where to get it or what I can use as an alternative? The laundry bleach was excellent as a soak or in the washer. Although with a new baby I haven'y had time to research - I am guessing that nappy bleaches are awful (nappisan etc)?

I have previously been advised on these boards that normal chlorine bleach is not a problem for the environment as it breaks down. Obviously that is only suitable for whites.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Hi, I placed an order from Ethical Superstore last week, they have Ecover on offer at the moment so lots of their prices are the cheapest I could find (but worth checking other online places too as some differed by a few pence), if you use a lot of their products you can get free delivery if you stock up and they are on TopCashBack for 10% (though mine hasn't tracked)..
Hmm direct link won't work but the product is on Ethical Superstore if you google it.
I've also used the Ecover stain remover on small areas and that seems very effective.
Also what about soda crystals in the whites, not sure how eco friendly it is in comparison though?
I never use real bleach as the smell makes me nauseous..0 -
