    We paid £4500 in overpayments in 2009 :)
  • Overpaid about £7,000 in 2009. Target is to clear the balance of £5,000 this year. :D

    The Bradford and Bingley are being savvy ! Little point in lending money at 2 or 3 % when you can bring it in early and lend it out again at 5% to other customers!

  • We had our statement through this morning from C&G, overpaid a nifty £42,000 this year. lets hope int rates stay nice n low for everyone!

    13.7 years to go for us :)

    £3,842 was for 2009 - & now my target to beat for 2010 !
    ORIGINAL MORTGAGE AMOUNT £106,454.00 (Started Sept 2007)
    NOV 2021 O/S AMOUNT £1,694.41 OUR DEBT REDUCED BY £104,759.59 by std regular, over-payments & off-setting.
    BofE +0.19% Tracker Repayment Offset Mortgage Discounted Sept 07-10 then increased to BofE +0.62% until 2027
  • We only managed £850 last year, but had a few debts so clear and i was on maternity leave, so not bad i suppose. We were planning for £5000 this year, but have just discovered baby no3 is on the way. I dont think we will reach our target for 2010, but we have managed £525 so far this year so we will hopefully do better than last year:D
