Aww, thank you - that's really nice of you. Even though tomorrow's Friday (:Dyaaaaay!:D) - and I'm lucky enough to love my job, today was REALLY sh*te. Two colleagues have had a massive fight in front of a line manager - and a junior but much-valued colleague who is caught in the middle 'phoned in today to say that he's not coming back until the pathetic, childish, situation has been sorted.
As Edmund Blackadder once said - "I think the phrase rhymes with 'clucking bell'..."
I'm not involved at all. But, because of where I sit in the scheme of things and my genial, reasoned, popular, balanced and impartial attitude,
(more fool me, I suspect - but I've done the whole "nervous-breakdowns caused by workplace-bullying" thing in my previous job. NEVER again.),
I am going to have to deal with the fall-out tomorrow and all of next week, and possibly for several weeks to come. :mad::(
The larks on this forum have given me much-needed smiles and a good reality-check! I bless the day I created my user account with MSE!!!
