At first i thought it was my graphics card that was the problem as i have like loads of 'pink noise' all over my screen, but i've been over the techie board to see the kind folk and it seems that it could be the monitor that is dying. The graphics card is only a year old, same age as the pc, so i would have been cross if this had gone already, but the monitor (which i particularly like) is from an older pc and it's almost 4 yrs old so i guess i cant complain.
I just wasnt bargaining on forking out for a new monitor right at the moment. Having said that though, i can add a new monitor myself, but a graphics card would be slightly trickier and i would be better taking it to the shop so more money to lay out!.

well...I have a spare LCD monitor (15") knocking around if it helps...and IF the graphics card did need replacement they're pretty easy to do yourselfWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

I wouldnt really want to even attempt to change the graphics card myself, some things are better left to those that know what they are doing....at least better than me!.
I'm in the process of looking at monitors at the moment, gonna get into town and see if i can get the man in the computer shop to take pity on me and do me a deal :rotfl: Lets hope the ol' charm still works!!
