Here is everything I spent this month...

Inspired by the poster who did this for the whole of my 2009 this is my spending diary for January.

Bit about me, I'm a student on a full time work placement, only debt is 0% overdraft. The savings are my student loan which is saved for travelling in summer and the spare money I have to pay off the overdraft which I'll pay off in one lump sum once I have enough. Live with 5 others and I paid some bills for other so don't owe any bill money until easter.

Def don't want to stop having fun etc and will be fine to pay my overdraft off this year but I'll be in trouble if something happens to my car for example

So feel free to tell me off for being good with my supermarket spends but then spending loads on meals out etc!

I considered this on my placement last year but i didnt get around to it, software engineering is a busy field unfortunately, either that or im a workaholic but in my defence i was on the busiest two projects.

Well done for keep a note on it all.

    I like the parking £1 :P.

A fair few 1 time expendses there like gifts, optician etc.

That is good, "Saving - £1408.54" does that include your January grant or other income, my placement was ~£950 after tax.
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies
