I'm in again. Thanks the Fab 3 for your unflagging enthusiasm! Thanks for the easy start - I can manage the kitchen as long as you don't ask me to clean out the cupboards! Ooops I probly shouldn't have said that....

Michelle - I had a couple of plastic/oilcloth sheets I put under the highchair which stopped all the crapola sticking to the floor and staining it.

Thanks for that. I might try a sheet again, but as he will be 2 in May i am kind of hoping he will just get better. He's a monkey. It's only laminate underneath so i think i just need to get my bum in gear and do it after every meal rather than being lazy and leaving it to set. The weetabix and jelly had both well stuck. Biggest problem is he is sat at the table on a handisitt, but his knees are stopping him getting close enough to the table. I tried to sit him on the dining chair to eat, but he then got up and down from the chair for every mouthful so i wasn't eating to sort him out. We'll get there and then we are going to redecorate the wall next to his seat. ;)

Thanks for the hugs guys, really appreciate it.:A

Managed to go the local as it was my neighbours 40th birthday. Had 1 beer then orangejuice and lemonade, nice evening but by gawd its freezing. Brrr.

Anyways feel better after resting most of this afternoon, just frightened that I'll relapse, when I say frightened I mean terrified out of my wits....:o.

Bit apprehensive about seeing my specialist tomorrow too in case he stops all meds, we'll see, I'll know shortly.

Thanks for your the amazing effort Piggers, Toots and Soappie that you all put in to keeping this thread on track and to the rest of you for being part of my extended 'family and friends'....it means a hell of a lot. xxxxxx

it's weird that after only 3 months we are settling in quite nicely!
dh is finally out and working (only temping atm but better than nothing - he needs to do his electrical licence first; which he should have in a week or so - and then he can look for permanent jobs!!) - kids are at pre/school - and i can finally get back into a routine - so life is good :j

Holly - I found my shape changed dramatically in the first couple of weeks of my new diet/exercise/fitness regime and things are all fitting better round the middle (actually, my tummy has basically just disappeared - I've lost 3cm off my waist measurement too). This was when it was snowing so my activity levels were pretty low. Apparently it is likely to be due to the VAST quantities of vegetables I've been eating. With my main meal I've been having 100g each of three veg e.g. carrots, cabbage, broccoli; cauliflower, broccoli, spinach etc... Make sure you have more veg than fruit (my other meals are vegetable soup, toast with humous/cottage cheese and salad; breakfast is either fruit and porridge or fruit, yogurt & muesli or 2 eggs, toast and fruit). It fills you up, have very few calories but also has lots of vitamins and soluble fibre. You'll need to drink LOTS as well (some of the others on the FB discussion also found they were drinking considerably more) and fennel tea is a good one to try (it's quite often called slimmers tea). And do some pilates.... train your tummy to stay in :D

WOW! i don't know about the others but i am impressed!!
well done you!!! :T - you make it sounds so easy :o
